1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of transport services ("the Services")
provided by Bristol Taxi Chauffeuring (BTC) ("the Company") to the Corporate
Client ("the Client"). By booking a journey with BTC, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- Booking Process: Bookings can be made via email, telephone, or WhatsApp.
- Booking Confirmation: Upon receipt of a booking, the Company will confirm
availability and provide the Client with a booking reference number.
- Contract: The contract for the provision of transport services will be formed
between the Client and BTC when the booking is confirmed by the Company.
3. Service Delivery
- Transport Services: The Company provides a range of transport services,
including standard taxis, executive vehicles, MPVs, minibuses, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles. All services are
subject to availability.
- Driver Partners: BTC works with a network of licensed drivers to fulfill bookings.
These drivers are independent contractors, not employees of BTC.
- Route and Timings: The Company will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely
delivery of services, but is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment Terms: Payment for services is due within **7 days** of the invoice
date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices will be provided to the Client with all relevant journey details.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Payments may be made via bank transfer, credit
card, or debit card. Payment details will be provided on the invoice.
- Late Payment: Payments not received within 7 days will incur a 2% interest charge per month on the overdue amount.
- Additional Costs: The Client may be charged for any additional services or expenses incurred, including but not limited to tolls, parking fees, wait times, and special vehicle requests.
5. Cancellation and Changes
- Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup will incur no charge.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of the total journey cost.
- Cancellations made within 2 hours of pickup will incur the full charge.
- Changes to Booking: The Client may amend their booking by contacting BTC via WhatsApp or email at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup. Changes made within 2 hours may be subject to additional charges.
6. Liability and Insurance
- BTC Liability: BTC is liable for any failure to provide the transport services in accordance with the terms of the contract. Liability is limited to the total value of the journey fee.
- Driver Liability: BTC is not responsible for any incidents, accidents, or damage caused by the driver during the journey. The driver is fully insured for the provision of services.
- Force Majeure: BTC is not liable for delays or failure to deliver services caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, traffic congestion, or government restrictions.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Confidentiality: BTC will keep all Client information confidential and will only use it for the purpose of delivering
the booked services. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the
Company's Privacy Policy.
- Data Protection: BTC complies with applicable data protection laws and will not
share the Client's personal information without consent, except where necessary to fulfill the transport service.
8. Health and Safety
- Passenger Safety: The Client is responsible for ensuring that all passengers comply with safety regulations, including the use of seat belts. BTC reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger who endangers the safety of others.
- Face Coverings: If required by local regulations or the transport provider, passengers must wear face coverings during the journey.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Complaints: In the event of a complaint or issue, the Client is encouraged to contact BTC via email or phone. BTC will investigate and resolve the issue in a timely manner.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution: If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, the matter may be referred to an alternative dispute resolution service before pursuing legal action.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
